Meanwhile, the bust continues apace. To celebrate Zim the Amazing's return, I have shorted another $100 million of SKF at around $209.50 average, now some at $211 to round it up to $210 average.

Nasdaq down another tranche. QCOM getting towards buy range. This is a LOT of fun. As TJ says, living through history is fascinating stuff. Biblical lessons to be relearned by many. A return of Virtuous Victorian Values promoted by some of us.

I am finding it disconcerting that nearly everything on my watch list is not making me feel like buying it. Maybe I need to look further afield for things which will look like bargains.

GE doesn't look exciting although Warren Buffett backed it. Nor Goldman Sachs though they have a money tap direct from the USA government and Warren backed it with $5bn [at twice the price it is now].

Mqurice
