An October attack would have almost assuredly changed the outcome of the election, which is why you didn't see one. Now that they have an inexperienced incompetent in office, you can count on an attempt within the first year of his presidency. Let's just hope like hell that Bush has put in place enough measures that Obama can't undo them all in a first term. Most thinking people realize they wanted McCain in the presidency. After all, a beligerant US president is good for business.
