Your Dad seems smarter than mine, another patriot. After being years of being bitterly unhappy with one Ford after another, he began buying GM cars - and has been equally unhappy. Some years ago my Mom ignored his wishes and bought a Honda, as her Sister and husband had, and has been very satisfied. I've owned a variety of German cars. Some have a need to keep making the same mistake and expecting different results. .
