I was saying the same thing about Romney on another thread. He accurately says giving them this bailout is what will cause detroits failure.

And as far as nobody buying cars from a company in Chap 11, that damage has already been done, anybody who was concerned with this viability issue has probably already heard about this bailout controversy which does the exact same image damage as a chap 11.

And FIRE LUTZ, and fire those "furloughed workers" getting paid for not working for TWO YEARS after they have been laid off.

What was amazing to me, was listening to Detroit try to imply the only thing wrong with their business was the economy. They were barely limping along with 50K tax cuts for SUVs and suing CA for cafe standards and lobbying the corrupt Bush admin EPA. Activity like this was their ENTIRE BUSINESS MODEL.
