Interesting article...China is one of GM's most profitable markets and they do have a big joint venture over there...Maybe GM should entertain the idea of selling a large part of their parent company to China -- keep a controlling interest but sell at least 40% of the company...the Chinese Government has trillions in cash and may view things very differently than the U.S. Congress.

If GM goes into bankruptcy and liquidates the Chinese might be the highest bidders for a lot of the assets anyway...Maybe GM's board should be proactive and tell Congress that China will own a large part of the company unless they receive a bridge loan in the next 60 days.
