If you care more about liberty, free markets, and economic efficiency, well corporate welfare subverts them, if you care more about equality and/or dealing with poverty, well CW gives money to relatively wealthy people, not to the poor.


I agree. If they can't make it, they can't make it. As far as I can see, if they don't take advantage of this opportunity to crush the unions they don't deserve to continue in business. Unions have had a time and place, but right now, they're just added bloat for these companies. The unions have said, "We're not giving up a damned thing" -- as long as they have that attitude, I don't think they ought get a penny.
