You haven't really supported the idea that her role as mayor was ceremonial. Even in towns or small cities with city managers, the mayor typically helps set polices. But lets assume it was for the sake of argument. Governor of Alaska is clearly more executive experience than "worked with campaign managers to run a campaign".

And we're finding out that her performance to date as governor has been less than stellar. She's wildly popular because she upped payment out of Alaska's socialist fund to each man, woman and child in Alaska from roughly $1k per person to roughly $3k per person. Nothing like buying popularity with money while suggesting competency.

Once again, you need to pick better subjects to defend.
