Jim Bunning. I have cousins who live in Kentucky. They tell me many there believe that Bunning has been senile for years. I was at the last game of the World Series in Philadelphia. Jim Bunning threw out the first pitch. There was a respectable amount of cheering for a Phillies Hall of Famer. But when he got on the mound, he then walked about twenty feet toward the plate. He then proceeded to throw the pitch and it landed about twenty feet in front of the plate. What a WIMP. That was met by quite a few boos. (Please no jokes about Philadelphia fans booing Santa Clause.) I'm about the same age as Bunning and I know I can still throw a baseball ninety feet - OK it would be a lob and not a fastball. And I never pitched in the major leagues, let alone made the Hall of Fame.
