AIG and CitiBank have huge fleets of jets too -- they can't afford them given their current financial situation...Just like all the Big 3 automakers the vulnerable banks that we are pumping money into need to become much more responsible with the way they manage their operations in very tough times. There is no reason a large global company needs more than 2 company owned planes (maximum)...It's much cheaper to charter planes when necessary from firms like NetJets and XOJet.

I am for the auto bailout but if one is done, the auto companies need to be put on a very short leash.
