Watched the UAW head dood on CNBC a bit ago....clearly this is a guy who is in denial.

He brought up the anti union people in D.C. and said that they bring up that it takes 75 US workers for every 2500 cars manufactured compared to 33 in Japan. And then he said that it is wrong to look at it as the Japanese being more efficient, but that we should look at it as 75 lost jobs. Huh? you dumb MFer!! Wouldn't it make more sense to be more efficient and save some portion of the jobs rather than to lose them all to foreign competition.

They may prolong the death of the US Auto industry, but the core problems are going to still exist...it is doomed in the long run.
