electric cars were a big boondoggle in CA. Another example of the government trying to force its solutions into an industry.

I actually had thought electrics would come along now, but given the current worldwide auto mfg. debacle, I wonder if some of these projects will be put on hold.

I got news for you......had GM had electric cars and hybrids, it wouldn't be in the mess it is. CA is an example of a state gov't thinking outside the box ahead of private industry.

No, this is government regulations at work. Government quotas are never based on free markets.


GM is in the mess its in because of free markets, and not because of gov't regulation.
