well you did say "The Bush admin has suffered great damage in spite of the Iraq and other successes, more from an on going onslaught of mean spirited attacks than do to real substantial failures," this economy is a real ,substantial failure and yet you dont even mention it...so i thought it might be under that heading "mean spirited attack" the economy lost the election for the gop....and still you go on about the dubious sucess in iraq... that "success" is not the sucess we were assured would come..."mission accomplished" as to palin...geepers...one could have choosen someone who was not a complete outsider ... to represent the president in congress...to stand next in line to leadership. obamas lack of experience was balanced by Biden...an insider..... somebody who knows how to get a bill passed.
