Interesting perspective. I see the Auto industry as threatening much more disruption that BK will deliver. The only losers being the unions leaders and the upper management.

Employees may have to take cut backs in salary and benefits as well as retired people. It would seem management and unions took more than their share for decades now anyway.

That might sound cold, but better to have jobs with lower slaries than no job at all.

Green car start ups will fail even in California. Everybody wants them. But only the foolish think that you can build an economical green car. People won't even pay double for gas, they won't pay double for batteries every 5 years or so. We need to forget about this for now and fund fusion and sub atomic research. That is where the real energy lies.
