Jack, LH has been buying a lot of T/S SW. They bought out Berekly TTS, and they purchased the TruVoice TTS engine from Centigram. I understand that they have a few others as well. They also own some SR technology, i believe. Note that Berekly is not high quality. TRuVoice is EMail tuned. LH wants to be THE TTS and SR company.

Sorry - don't know Lernout and Hauspie Speech (LHSPH). Belgium is very close to us, but there are so many small tech companies in this part of Europe it is hard to follow them all.
