I just see reality Ted. It's you that can't help being an optimist.

Nope. My optimism is long gone.....right now, I am simply trading. As for the economy, I just want to try and avoid a depression.

In terms of my portfolio, I screwed up first with the banks......I didn't realize people were starting to freak out over the commercial markets. Consequently, I waited too long to sell them. And like I said before, I switched over to the long side too soon this past week. I misread the technicals. I should have reloaded my DXD and DUG shares on Monday instead of buying two long stocks. I paid a steep price for both mistakes.

BTW Ford bounced $.15 at the close. I believe some fund bought into the stock.

BTW 2......people are fleeing to bonds even as yields are 0......I suspect a bottom may be close.

BTW 3....its official....2008 is the worst year in the history of the markets.
