I very much dislike it when the "Talking Heads" say Doom and Gloom like it was a end of the world scenario. They just don't get it. It's not a matter of being optimistic or pessimistic, it is being "realistic"! Economic cycles of varying duration have always existed throughout time. Once this BEAR exhausts itself, a new BULL begins....count on it. It's life! Mankind made it through learning life's lessons in the 30's and todays generations will too!

Most people are lost amongst the trees and can't see the forrest.......never will! Peter has been thinking outside the box for years!

I have been following Peter Schiff for a couple of years. He has nailed this down fall. It is well documented in his books, website and every time he opens his mouth. He advocates buying and holding dividend paying foreign stocks and resource stocks for the long term. Each week on his call, he has to convince his customers not to worry about being down 50-60% and stay focused on the long term.

Roubini is another one who has nailed the collapse. He says that he is a long term investor and has all of his money in index funds.

My question is what difference does it make being right unless if you can't convert it into bucks? I find myself listening less and less to these guys. I know it is bad and I know that it is probably going to get worse.

Yeah i caught Schiff and Yamada yesterday on CNBC. The bozos on Fast Money had their jaws dropping. It was funny. Yamada is very good and I am surprised they even let her on. The truth can be very painful. It was funny when their silver lining was that the aftermarket futures were up a few points. Unreal. Having said all that be ready for another bear rally soon.
