James:

This bit of news would seem to confirm what the market has been telling us for the past six months. Unfortunately, for most members of this board, we have been relying on BGO's version of the deposit and their other activities in Chile. Slowly, we are beginning to find out, that they may in fact have been torturizing the truth. I am sad to say that the lack of candor they have had about their recent drill operations, the performance of the Refugio, and the status of dealings with other companies, has also been applied to the CC. For myself, these past three months have been ringing bells loud and clear about this company. World class 20 million ounce deposits, do not depreciate the way BGO has without some serious questions being raised in investors minds.

Ken

James,
Interesting to hear your recent change of mind. Vargas was right about Nesbitt Burns; they touted Bre-x to no end and were ultimately proved negligent if not downright stupid. I believe the analyst was Bianchini, who is the analyst responsible for downgrading BGO?
Also, there are other brokerage houses who have upgraded recently, as indicated by Wayne, so its obvious that NB is not the be all and end all of mining analysis. Although I believe and hope the stock will return to former prominence I hope you at least were able to reach a comfort level as I know you had a relatively significant position. Keep posting!
Regards,
Dan Byrne

James, there maybe a JV but the partner will want a significant equity interest in the project. If there is a JV it will be on the new partner's terms not Bema's. The reason is that there isn't a bidding war for this deposit. Any JV will significantly dilute Bema's interest. That is why I think the stock will trade between 5 to 6 dollars for a long time. There are too many great opportunities out there than to hang on.
