Yep, I read that a 10 year buy and hold in the overall market would have lead to a 40% loss when taking everything into consideration....not exactly conservative investing, more like destruction of assets. This is the financial situation inflicted on us by 30 years of Reaganomics capped with 8 years of the Worst President and the Worst Political Party in US History. There is some indication that US debt may even be downgraded which could happen if China refuses to lend us any more money because they no longer believe in our markets. Egads. That's bad. Typically, as is always evident on this thread, right wingers are blaming everyone else including Obama who isn't even in office. They never take responsibility for anything.
