Well, there's a sucker born every minute. What else can I say? The reasons against going short are obvious.

Institutional support should be huge over the coming weeks. Also, new products are really heating up. Just look at the rpess today on their graphics products!

CHIP HUNTER, I must be sleeping when they taught TA I ... but
let's see

1. CREAF had been on an uptrend in last few months, with clear support at the 50 day moving avg. There was some penetration that occurred in Sept, but the price recovered quickly and resumed its uptrend. A couple of days ago, another penetration occurred most likely because of earnings jitters. Today's big move up restores the bull channel.

2. Check out the IOM chart and a very similar thing happened prior to earnings. After earnings announcement, the channel penetration was nullified, and the stock now is on a 4-day rally, just made new highs today.

3. If you want to short a stock, look for stocks with big meltdowns like EGRP, VIAS, SPCT, SNDK, PCMS, wait for the technical bounce, then
buy your puts. 9 of 10 times you do this, you'll make money.

4. And never go against the momentum until the 3rd day.

jump right out in front of that mack truck guy. i believe your TA is missing something and give you a "no balls" to short here. YOU will more than likely lose some money on the short side. only time will tell which one of us is right, but i would be buying more here, although i already bought yesterday! creaf has very good support above 20 so your profit would be minimal compared to the risk involved. AND the fact that we gappped up today the top of that gap should provide some good support also. this company has lots going for it, both fundamentally and technically. GO CREAF!

CH - TA claims that stocks that "gap up", will tend to fill those gaps over the near-term, (the market abhors a vacuum). Let's see, yesterday's close was 20.75, and today's opening was 25.625 so there are the outer limits of the "gap". CREAF was extraordinarily strong today, with much good news, and mentioned by GS and ML among others, so it might establish a new high prior to filling the gap at let's say the 23.50 - 24 level. Longer term I'd be careful because this one's eventually going to fly higher. CREAF's big slug of cash, and the need to diversify, make a future acquisition a virtual certainty.

Looking for attention Chip? I guess you got it. It may be somewhat premature to short CREAF. If you do, what is your downside target? I can see maybe looking for a point or two, but outside of this I don't agree. Good luck with your choice.
