I was in the military. Most horrible experience in my life-lol. I was in the National Guard to avoid the Viet Nam war and had six months of active duty. My mind went dead. I saw terrible brutality and amazing stupidity. I was saved by devine intervention-lol. When I got off the bus at Fort Ord, the guy getting off with me was a guy named Clay Hodges who was the 196? heavyweight United States Golden Gloves Champ and had just retunred from fighting Buster Mathis. He lost, but he did beat George Forman, twice, and Gerry quarry said he was the tougest guy he ever fought. I became his best friend-lol. He was my body guard. The military hated my ass, but he was my roomy-lol. In fact he came up with me to Alaska originally. Despite his fighting ability he was an english major and liked to discuss things -lol.
