Palin is an old time American. I lost most confidence in Bush when he passed out Katrina cash cards for victims.

I see a different point, a phenomenon. I'm not a republican although I lean conservative in my life style; whereas, I'm quite liberal in the way I address everyday people, their views, and ways of doing things.

The point being, I see Palin as a fine and decent person and a capable political leader; whereas, you don't think she is qualified for national leadership and note the Repubs are not doing well by picking her to represent them. So what? Normally that would have been a sticky note that was removed months ago. But there is a highly fueled anti-Palin compulsion that is not so easily overlooked, and it seems to be sticking around for the duration. You are smack dab into it full force. That is the point of interest.
