The fact that Bush allows Cox to continue on at the SEC makes you wonder...Cox is not sophisticated and he totally stripped ALL the safeguards out of the system...Cox has been a short-sellers best friend but that's NOT appropriate for an SEC Chairman.

Even Bill Fleckenstein -- a legendary Bear said tonight he's in the process of closing out his short fund.

Cox finally called an emergency meeting on shortselling which is why futures are finally UP tonight.

Cox is a disaster. He was the one who has abetted the short sellers for the past 8 years. Another Bush appointee who is helping to destroy this country. When I freaked out back in 2000 and knew we were in for a world of hurt under Bush, I never ever realized it would get this bad.

This is an incredible disaster. CITI at $4, unless they do something the entire stock market is going to 20 bucks

Tell me about it.......I am in cash. I don't trust whomever is running the markets these days. Its become pure insanity.
