Hi Tom,

Good to see you here. I no longer follow stocks, with the exception of a very occasional trade for my IRA. For the most part I'm scalping very fast trades on the Russell 2000 emini futures (TF). Another former regular here (WilyWilly) is doing much the same and I hear from him once in a while.

I'll stay tuned to see what you can turn up.

I would like to see this thread active again. I think everyone has had to become a short term trader in this market.

I just started reading your book this week. I saw mention of SI and looked up this board. It's great to see that you may be starting up the board again. I'll contribute what I can.

I started trend trading in earnest back in late June of this year and worked my way back to even on the year by the end of August. I have been cautious for most of the year holding at least 50% cash and finally 100% cash after getting stopped out of everything by late September or early October. I don't wish to daytrade so I've spent my time reading and preparing for better market conditions.

I did make my first buy in over a month on Monday. It's just a small position on a stock I have been watching all year. If I can figure out how to attach a chart on SI I'll post it.

Hi TC,

I just finished your book last week having been laid off from an investment bank a few weeks ago.

I thought the book was fantastic and have set up all of the screens on Stockcharts.com. Right now I'm dipping my toes in the water trading the BTTT-MAX using the SKF/UYG to try to take advantage of this volatility and would love to see this thread active to aid in my quest to get up to speed.

Thanks for all your help.

Best,
LH
