That would be an absurd reason (I mean, they've been rudderless since 2001).

More likely is a squeeze on physical supply of gold and silver at the Crimex. Lots has been said about buyers planning on taking physical delivery on long orders in November and December. Maybe this is the first real evidence that it's working.

Today's COT's will be especially interesting.....
