Reading that whole piece does not give me the impression that he's a hands-off CEO...yes, he may have experimented with how much to be involved in day to day nuts and bolts...but I don't see hands off..

We all know that the gift of delegating(to whom and for what jobs) is the crucial element of success...

I suppose we're seeing/experiencing the data differently...

Lizzie, one thing I've learned as a general manager in a large company is that if you don't learn how to delegate, then you will fail as a leader. As my organization grew from 10 people to 150+ over the years, I began to realize that my number 1 job was to find the very best people and managers, set the direction and the tone, and then get the hell out of the way. No doubt, it's important to course correct periodically and sometimes to reset strategy, but I've found that the more I try to micro-manage, the less effective everyone becomes.

BTW, maybe Hillary would have been a great President too, but I just think Obama is more right for the times. I think he's more centrist and pragmatic. JMHO.
