It's hard not to start thinking about a company like Dupont selling ~22/shr recent eps is $3.50 and while I know earnings will get hit. Still , looks tempting.

GE , same way. maybe too much financial with GE but
dang, these look interesting.

I'm even thinking bank stock. not money center bank but regional . like .... southeast. TRMK , for example

I'm sitting on a pile of cash. any body got any ideas? Certainly , its not burning a hole in my pocket but I'm starting to think there might be a floor somewhere???

We've had 950+ point days on the DOW, $80+ in gold, all in the past two months, and followed by continued gains in the dollar.

It's the neocon reality we're living in now: each day is a new reality; each hour is a new reality. Sometimes, each minute is a new reality.

What a nightmare reality.

My scenario is as yours. Then this stock market rally gives way to another swoon to fresh lows. Gold and gold shares appear to follow but then finally diverge from the general market and at long last we get our just desserts. :)
