"oh but Reno was OK" _ You will never find a post of mind praising Reno's tenure at Justice, but if you want to compare her to Alberto...yeah, she was better. Gonzales is routinely recognized in the legal community, both lib and conservative, judicial, bar and administrative, as the worst Attorney General since, at least, Ed Meese...and Ed didn't screw up the Justice Department like Alberto... Are you aware you (we the taxpayer) are paying his outside legal fees to defend him agains the lawsuits now brought by denied applicants who are demonstrating from DOJ records that they were denied for Political (illegal) reasons! Thanks, Alberto. Synchophant extraordinaire. But then there was, almost, Harriet Miers on the Supreme Court...brrrrrrr. Miers instead of Alito....makes the mind boggle.
