Just filled up my tank: Regular gas $ 1.999, and Premium $ 2.489. Wow! Never though gas can be bought under $ 2/gallon.

The auto industry has been riding a roller coaster. A few weeks back dealers were promoting gas miser cars, sub compacts like Ford Focus, Chevy Cobalt, Honda Fit, Toyota Yaris etc. People bought them thinking gas prices would keep rising. Then they found out that those cars are not safe against big SUV's.

With the cheap gas around, customers prefer SUV's again. Dealers do not have enough of those cars, and the small cars are just sitting there in their lots gathering dust.

Is there any wonder why so many dealers have declared BK?
