Palin is a sick freak. I've been to Alaska too. I know man and animals live in close proximity and some people need game to survive, but to enjoy their slaughter is just sick. When Native Americans killed a buffalo, they thanked its soul and apologized to it then used every scrap to survive. Palin seems to come from the crowd that just likes to kill. And thinks God wants them to kill more. There's a certain Robber Baron Wild West mentality there. Nature is just there to rape and pillage, as if its infinite and we can't destroy it. I guess Alaska attracts those types because there really is so much wilderness. But they have already almost wiped out the greatest salmon spawning region in the world. Exxon Valdez and overfishing. Deregulating the plunder of nature always ends with the Golden Goose being slaughtered. Palin wants the Golden Geese slaughtered. She enjoys it.
