Friday was options expiration, so 800 could have just been max-pain point? ... or could have been any number of things, don't know ... it's doing a one-third retrace right now, no way to tell where the Crimex will put it

Seems like the Powers That Be could start letting gold edge up a tich before long, to sort of moderate fears of deflation, it wouldn't do to let the doomsday scenario take too firm a root in the public mind ... there will be no moon shot anytime soon though, no way will they let it run to where it gets in the headlines, and they've certainly got the ammo to put it where they want it, with this many billions floating around ... but it looks to me like their interests and ours may be somewhat allied at this point
