I actually have a solution. GM, Ford and Chrysler can negotiate with the big oil companies, who have made hundreds of billions in profits the past few years, for their bailout. GM was a gift from god to the oil companies, amazing.

The UAW thinks GM has no management problems and the entire issue is the credit crisis and nobody at GM is to blame

I think the UAW has expressed there are problems with management.

I think there is some meeting ground that keeps union/worker rights strong, pay decent, healthcare real, etc that meets in a place that is workable. You lay out a lot there that meets that, and takes into acct working on managment and whitecollar, as well. tho i think i read a lot of their whitecollar who aren't unionized have already lost healthcare. that doesn't seem equitable.
