a) Obama wants to raise more taxes than just the 35% regular income tax bracket.

b) To a liberal, the rich will always be a source of limitless tax revenues. Like you said, the rich will never be taxed our of their opulence, but that's the reason why you will never stop thinking of new taxes for them.
