I hope we see Clark somewhere that makes a difference. I very like him.

In a place like the C.I.A. has been at times in its history if you are a decent sort maybe you figure you can make something of a difference among the dirt???

Anyone who carried water (i.e. lied) for bush should be quiety thrown in the nearest toilet.

or at least shown the door with a well-placed boot. :) that's why I can't figure the two people he has going over the c.i.a. for him on the transition team and talk of whosit... uhmmm... Brennan being at the C.I.A. - he might be good for pointing out where the dead, and undead, bodies are but that's quite enough of him, imo. the current guy seems to have gone a ways in restoring the agency but it needs more. Bennan or the woman working with Obama right now would, imo, take trust back down the drain for people when it comes to what the C.I.A. has to say about anything.

Obama fills out White House communications team

WASHINGTON (AP) — President-elect Barack Obama on Saturday named longtime spokesman Robert Gibbs as White House press secretary, putting in place a communications team as he works quickly to fill his incoming administration.

Gibbs went to work for Obama's Senate campaign in 2004 and was communications director while Obama was in the Senate.

Obama rounded out his White House communications team Saturday with one outsider and one insider.

The outsider is Ellen Moran, who will be director of communications at the White House — in charge of getting Obama's message out. She is executive director of the Washington group EMILY's List — a group that backs female candidates who support abortion rights. She also has worked for the AFL-CIO.

Her deputy in the White House will be Dan Pfeiffer, who is communications director for Obama's presidential transition team. He helped managed the press operation on the Obama campaign.

"These individuals will fill essential roles, and bring a breadth and depth of experience that can help our administration advance prosperity and security for the American people," Obama said in a statement. "This dedicated and impressive group of public servants includes longtime advisors and a talented new addition to our team, and together we will work to serve our country and meet the challenges of this defining moment in history."
