Kirk said earlier that he and Warren Buffett saw this credit crisis coming a long time ago...

"...Well, like many of us who saw "problems on the horizon" and took some action, we were unable to avoid the mess and grossly under estimated the intelligence of the people running Citibank in my case and Wells Fargo in Buffet's case..."

When asked how HE was warning folks and what HE was doing, Kirk now responds...

"...I said take profits and can and have shown you the page in my newsletter to prove it. I cut my allocation some at the top to have more cash to buy any market downturns and I still have plenty of cash to buy..."

So Kirk, it looks as if Buffett was publicly warning about the evils of derivatives while you were selling a handful of stocks...probably penny stocks...so you could buy the dips!

That doesn't exactly look like a clarion call to exit the market and run for cover Kirk.

As so many other amateurs you simply didn't have a clue as to what was "on the horizon" and characteristically you are now casting the wide net of blame for your poor performance.

<<We've both been buying. I managed to buy two more times on the day the market was in the 700s whereas Brinker called mid 1400s a GIFT HORSE BUY and said become fully invested in a lump sum.>>

If you're so proud of those buys, I'm wondering why you failed to respond to my questions in msg. 40700 and 40701.
