"...Well, like many of us who saw "problems on the horizon" and took some action, we were unable to avoid the mess and grossly under estimated the intelligence of the people running Citibank in my case and Wells Fargo in Buffet's case..."

So Kirk, when you and Warren saw this massive credit crisis looming on the horizon your response was not to bail out and warn your subscriber.

Instead you chose to trade the dips in Citi stock. And I find it amazing that you claim that you are NOT a market timer at all.

How in the world do you always manage to buy near the lows and sell near the tops?...

"...Then in the 2000 to 2002 bear market, I bought a few shares back near the bottom and sold them again near the top..."

And you say "a few shares"...what about the rest?

So you and Warren didn't really see the massive credit meltdown at all ... he lost a couple of billion bucks on those credit derivatives he warned about.

And you rode the bear market down all the way just like Brinker.

What good is seeing the so-called "problems on the horizon" if you do nothing about it Kirk?

Then in the 2000 to 2002 bear market, I bought a few shares back near the bottom and sold them again near the top. I made money even with a recent small trade of a small percentage of the original buy that is under water. Too bad I am not perfect.>>

--That's excellent, kirk! But I'm wondering if you left some information out, like how many times did you BUY Citi "near the lows" during the 2008 bear???

>>>What did you do at the top?.....

You address Gronieel as if he's Brinker. This seems odd to me since he has never identified himself as such. Why do you do this?

I don't understand these messages from Kirk. he talks about selling near the top, and buying near the bottom, then selling near the top again. it sounds like he's made a ton of money, yet, he's down along with many others this year. It just doesn't add up. It makes me very suspicious of what he says.

No, this is not an attack, and not meant as one. just my personal observation of Kirk.

And one other thing... This is a Brinker Discussion board, yet most of this message is regarding "As for what I did... I sold enough Citigroup.......yada,.... yada,.... yada....."

whatever!
