yes, it is funny to see Kudlow talk about our financial crisis as "creative destruction"...ie, it would be funny if it did not make one want to cry....but the destruction of GM et al, with their apparently goofy and untenable programs/polices, (eg, wage rates 50% higher than their domestic competition) would probably be a true example of creative destruction, even tho very painful to us all...

just wish Mankiw would get the stuff off his web site about how marvelous the Fed is...but then, what else to expect from the ivy league brain trust?
