ted, I see the Fed (Goldman Sachs conglomerate) is getting ready to bail out their 150 million dollar alumnus Rubin at Citigroup.

Why is there frequently a gap between what you post and the reality? And why are you not calling your president to complain about what his appointee is doing? After all, you voted for him twice.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Federal regulators on Sunday were reportedly working toward a rescue plan for Citigroup, whose stock has plunged in recent days over fears of its exposure to toxic mortgage assets.

Details remained unclear, but the plan reportedly centers around a government guarantee of some of Citigroup's loans. Under such an arrangement, the government would back loan-losses above a certain level. The goal: Restore confidence in Citigroup's viability.
