look, i'm all for 'green car' start ups, let them do their thing and let's see where it goes...

but when you make these asinine statements like 'CA is going GREAT' when the state is on the verge of BK you simply have no credibility.

yes, there are some jobs being created in small niche markets...fine and good and i wish them every success, i'm a big fan of creative destruction <ng>

but i listen to the info i hear from my son who lives and works in LA (entertainment industry) despite increasing layoffs... there will be jobs for highly specialized and experienced fx compositors and sups....the rest is going to asia, much cheaper to pay bollywood and china type wages to do the routine stuff....just like everything else....so despite 100's getting laid off at sony, he's going in for a job interview monday for a fx compositing producer job....thats ONE job against hundreds lost...

if that's your idea of doing GREAT....i have bridge loan to nowhere i'd like to sell you
