Legal actions have to have a remedy that is more than just throwing away assets. If they sell off the stores, they are worthless in today's market. I would imagine that the most that happens is some type of fine. There are no damages to Wild Oats provable. It was going down the tubes.

I supposed I should read the complaint and lower court findings, but like you, I'll just wait and see how low this goes. At some point, it's a great turn around. It's not going to go under and it's still by far and away the best place to shop if you have any money left.

Any yuppie trend gets reversed at some point and at 5 or so, this becomes a value play again.
