the problem i have with this co2 global warming theory is that the data doesn't back it up.

2008 is cooler than 1998, in spite of co2 emissions bubble during that time.

it should be much hotter now. the global warming scientists are stumped and don't like to talk about this fact for obvious reasons.

i haven't reached a conclusion one way or the other, but the data doesn't support the fear mongering.

i think al gore understands the data as his monthly energy bill is in the $30k range, excluding his private jet pollution, which is astounding.

" It's pretty arrogant for mankind to think that it has more influence over the earth's temperature than other much larger universal causes, like maybe the sun."

This is of course, a straw man, since no one is saying that. What they say is that, we're contributing to global warming.

We can't change the sun's outputs, be we can change ours.

I think it just avoids the real issue, which is human overpopulation on the globe. Control that, and you've controlled our contribution to global warming, pollution, species extinction, the rape of nature for resources - this list is nearly endless.
