We get sunflowers coming up all over the place every Summer. The old lady next door has seven feeders and the squirrels bury them all over the place.

They're kind of pathetic sunflowers.

I found a tin of "Wildflowers" at TJ Max a couple of yrs ago for cheap. So I bought it and planted them on our berm last Summer. It was mostly Flax.....which I'd never planted before..........and some other flower. They were both pretty nonsignificant, but pretty just the same. Well..........this Autumn, the birds and squirrels are just going crazy over the seed. They've picked it clean, but when they were full of seed, the berm was covered with hoppy little birds having feast.

I'm going to plant some again next Spring just so we can watch the birds eat the seed.
