CALGARY, Nov. 24 /CNW/ - Boxxer Gold Corp (TSXV - "BXX") is very pleased to announce the results of the channel sampling program completed on the 5th and 6th level of the Boss Mine, a former producing copper mine located on the Boss project in southern Nevada. The new results combined with previous sampling completed yielded the following mineralized intervals:

5th level:
- 1.15% copper, 1.09 g/t gold, 1.37 g/t PGE and 13.72 g/t silver over a
continuous interval of 100.0 metres including;
- 2.14% copper, 3.20 g/t gold, 4.23 g/t PGE and 22.20 g/t silver over a
7.10 metre interval and

6th level:
- 0.94% copper, 0.51 g/t gold, 0.13 g/t PGE and 8.22 g/t silver over a
continuous interval of 30.6 metres including;
- 2.73% copper, 1.06 g/t gold, 0.11 g/t PGE and 18.90 g/t silver over a
4.0 metre interval.

The locations and analytical results for the channel samples collected in 2008 on the 5th and 6th levels of the underground workings in the former Boss Mine are shown in Figure-1 and listed in Table-3.

Mr. Elmer Stewart, President and CEO of Boxxer stated, "The recent sampling program combined with the previous results completes the systematic channel sampling of the underground workings of the 5th and 6th levels of the Boss Mine. These grades are consistent with the previous analytical results from the upper four levels of the Boss Mine. These results continue to support the copper-gold porphyry potential of the Boss project".

The Boss Mine:

The Boss Mine consists of series of levels one through six that extend over a vertical interval of approximately 70 metres. Levels 1 to 5 are accessible by portals and the 6th level is accessible through a "manway" at the end of the 5th level (Figure-1). To date the 4th, 5th and 6th levels have been systematically sampled. Partial sampling of the 3rd level has been completed. The 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th levels of the Boss Mine all show visible copper oxide mineralization hosted in coarse dolomite. On surface, copper oxide mineralization was observed in coarse dolomite that extends from the portal on the 5th level for a distance of approximately 60m to the northwest. The coarse dolomite alteration also extends for a distance of approximately 250 metres to the southeast within which numerous pieces of copper oxide mineralization has been observed on surface.

5th Level:

This level is continuously mineralized over its entire length from the portal to the end of the workings; a horizontal distance of 100 metres. The mineralization has a minimum width of 24 metres, is open in three directions beyond the limits of the underground workings. The weighted average grade for the minimum length, width and grade of all samples collected from the 5th level between 2001 and 2008 are shown in Table -1 below. The analytical results of the 2008 sampling on this level are shown in Table-3.

Table-1: Dimensions and average grades for 5th level Boss Mine Workings

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
PGE = is the sum of the platinum and palladium concentrations
in the samples with a ratio of 1 to 4.

The average grade of the combined PGE over the width of the level is influenced by samples BM-10-08 (4.95 g/t), BM-16-08 (4.23 g/t) and BM-25-08 (16.33 g/t).

6th Level:

This level is located 4 metres above the 5th level (Figure-1) and is continuously mineralized over its entire length a horizontal distance of 30.6 metres and a width of 11.4 metres. The mineralization is open beyond the limits of the workings in four directions. The weighted average grade for the minimum length, width and grade of all samples collected from this level between 2001 and 2008 are shown below in Table-2. The analytical results of the 2008 sampling on this level are shown in Table-3.

The average grade of the combined PGE over the width of the 6th level is influenced by sample BM-27-01 (0.79 g/t). The analytical results for the channel samples collected in 2008 from the 5th and 6th levels are shown below in Table-3:

Future Plans:

Systematic channel sampling of the 4th level of the Boss Mine has been completed and results are pending. Channel sampling of the entire third level of the Boss Mine is expected to be completed in December concurrent with the planned diamond drilling program on the Boss Mine.

Sample Preparation and Analysis:

All channel samples were collected with a hammer and chisel and represent continuous sampling of the material within the sample interval. Sample weights ranged from 3 to 8 kilograms and sample intervals ranged from 1.50 to 7.10 metres. All samples were prepared ALS Chemex laboratory in Winnemucca, Nevada and were analyzed by ALS Chemex in Vancouver, British Columbia using PGM-ICP 23 for gold, platinum and palladium and ME-ICP41 for silver and copper and other metals. ALS Chemex's quality system complies with the requirements for the International Standards ISO9001:2000 and ISO 17025:1999. Analytical accuracy and precision are monitored by the use of international and in-house standards.
