Well like you I've been around hunting dogs all my life so I'm used to dogs being trained and minding and not fighting. Sure the males have to establish who is alpha and there is a bit of snarling and what not but then it's on to the business of hunting. The way this Shepard attacked without even sniffing or anything tells me the thing is hyper aggressive and totally out of control. Having a dog like that in public and unmuzzled is irresponsible at best.

I can't tell you how much I wanted to throttle the owner. And as someone on here guessed he was a mid 20 something punk.

I haven't been back to the store to see if they have a wanted poster for me as his dog died. Sadly I kicked it hard enough it wouldn't really surprise me that much. No way was I getting my hands in there however and he wasn't doing anything to get his dog under control so oh well.
