We know that the workers, even with what you call their obscene hourly wages, can't afford good health care, so perhaps there is some other entity that could cover those costs. What could that be? This is insane. These unskilled workers are making 80K/year plus full retirement benefits and such insane benefits as being paid for not working, and you think they can't afford good health care? You're nuts. It is fine for GM to provide health insurance, but to provide the level of coverage they do is well beyond what should be reasonably required.
