Vi---I take it Treasury CDS is insurance against US Govt default on payment of those associated treasuries? Once again, you could have people buying the CDS that don't own the treasuries? TIA Peaceb2u

Help....anyone please....if the gov't defaults and you're invested in gov't treasuries....what happens to your investment?
What about bonds? I'm very serious.
