The claim Bush didn't REALLY win has nothing behind it. Though 2000 was close, a consortium of major papers did a recount and determined Bush would have won no matter how long the recount had gone on. In 2004, Bush won decisively. ---------------------------------- Re. the US economic problems, they're quite real. However your side continually lies about the source of those problems. Uncontrolled entitlement programs that can't be reformed w/o your side screaming to high heaven that the Republicans are trying to kill social security and medicare. Lending policies which caused a giant subprime mortgage mess and made the real estate balloon much worse than it needed to be. And again any attempt to reform things is demonized as an attack on the poor.
