I love my daylight CFLs. Can you cite any evidence showing that "few people" like them?

My city is now converting from HPS to LED street lights, which will save substantial energy. The LEDs got rave reviews from the public during a local trial run last winter.

I think the quantity of _occupied_ houses has decreased.

Certain parts of Southern California and Nevada have many foreclosed homes.

The number of occupied houses who pay their utility bills is also down.

I'm keeping fewer lights on, and running the heat a little less. That's maybe a 2 - 3% decrease.
