Ben, do you understand what the article is trying to say? Why would a huge option position make any difference in the stock price? Do we know if the open interest in these contracts represents more buyers or more sellers?...stated another way, did investors buy or sell most of these calls?

Well, that may be their opinion, but I disagree.

A quick check at the CBOE web site shows the total open interest on those two calls is about 14100 contracts.

My archives show that on July 9, the open interest in July 35 calls alone was 18702 contracts, but SUNW had no problem closing well above 35.

JMHO, as always.
