roguedolphin;

I pray I am wrong. I do not think I am."

Jeepers and 7 recs!
Seems whenever things don't go just how we want, the knee jerk reaction is to say we are turning into Nazi Germany under Hitler again. This rambling though is especially weird in that it rambles on about the giving away of taxpayer money without oversight by Bush and then suggest Obama is trying to remake the world in his image. If the author is afraid of something, at a minimum he should decide what he is afraid of and address his fears to that political entity - not everyone in the world.

I for one don't like the give away by government of the 2 trillion dollars and am ready for change. Is it scary? You bet, but to stay the course given where we have gone the last 8 years is nothing short of delusional in my mind........

I reflected on this a while before responding. The writer of that article has grossly missed the bigger picture. His irrational rant reminds me of three things: numerology; the 'amazing coincidences' between Lincoln's and Kennedy's assassinations (passed around on leaflets for years in the 1970s); and lastly, most acutely reminds me of my former girlfriend, a doctor who was jewish who told me that she was very frustrated with about 1/2 her temple members in her hometown (Chicago) who still fretted nearly daily that "Hitler's gonna get us" -- not Hitler himself of course, but a new incarnation of him, and how they were psychologically trapped.

The amazing coincidences can largely be applied to every presidential candidate of the past billion years.

He has a gross and fundamental misread of Obama, his wife, his family, his principals, his ethics, his intent, and the nature of America. I think he's extremist view is a great example of a political death rattle. There will be more rattles.
