Is it a seperate product or not?...

The DOJ in their case proves IE is a separte "product" because it is:

1. Sold seperately.
2. Sold for other platforms.
3. Can be uninstalled relatively easliy.
4. Is targeted/tracked/marketed seperately
5. Historically, no integrated component has ever been sold seperately.

However what they have not said is why can't the browser be an integrated product for Windows 95, but not integrated for other platforms?

It can either be 1) an integrated product or 2) a seperate product within each platform, but it would be good to know if there is anything in the consent decree about preventing a program from simultaneously being a seperate product and an integrated product across platforms.

Jon :)
